The 2010 NFL Draft will be conducted over the course of three days this year. The first round will be held on Thursday, April 22, starting at 7:30 p.m. The second and third rounds will take place on Friday, April 23 beginning at 6:00 p.m., to be followed by rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m.A total of 255 players will be drafted, including 32 compensatory choices that were awarded to 19 teams who had a net loss of unrestricted free agents the previous year.

The Browns preseason begins at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay between August 12th and 16th.

The Packers won the meeting with the Browns 17-0 at Lambeau Field a year ago. This will be the fourth preseason game between the Browns and Packers at Lambeau Field since the 1999 season. The Packers have won all three of the previous exhibition meetings.

During the offseason, the Packers re-signed sixth-year free safety Nick Collins as a restricted free agent and later signed him to a three-year extension through 2013. Collins was fifth on the team with 53 total tackles, behind Nick Barnett, A.J. Hawk, Charles Woodson and Tramon Williams. Collins registered 44 solo tackles and 1 quarterback sack.

His 6 interceptions for 110 yards were second on the team.

The Packers re-signed Ryan Pickett as a franchise player, signed unrestricted free agent offensive lineman Mark Tauscher to a two year contract and cornerback Will Blackmon re-signed as restricted free agent.

The Browns host their preseason opener against the Rams between August 19th and 23rd. The game will be the first exhibition meeting since the Rams relocated to St. Louis in 1995.

The Rams signed wide receiver Nick Moore to a reserve/future contract. Moore, a University of Toledo product, is the younger brother of Saints wide receiver Lance Moore.

Strong safety Craig Dahl signed a two-year deal to remain with the club after posting the fifth-most tackles (65) on the team. Dahl will be a big part of the defense looking to replace their leading sacker from a season ago, Leonard Little. Little filed for and was declared a free agent on March 5th.

The Rams also signed former Browns offensive lineman Hank Fraley to help block for prolific running back Stephen Jackson, who ran for 1,416 yards and 4 touchdowns during the 2009 season.

The Lions and Browns renew The Great Lakes Classic rivalry at Ford Field in Week Three of the preseason.

The Browns are 5-3 over the last eight preseason games with the Lions, including a 27-10 win at Cleveland Browns Stadium in the second week of the 2009 preseason. It will be the ninth straight season the Browns and Lions meet in the exhibition season.

The Lions added a lot in the offseason and wide receiver Nate Burleson leads that class of free agents. Burleson spent the last four seasons of his career and caught 63 passes for 812 yards and 3 touchdowns during the 2009 regular season.

For his career, Burleson has 263 receptions for 3,547 yards and 27 touchdowns.

In addition to Burleson’s offensive capabilities, the Lions brought in defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch to anchor the line. Vanden Bosch had 3 quarterback sacks in his final year with the Titans and brings 42.5 career quarterback takedowns to Detroit. The Lions had only 26 sacks as a team last season.

The Browns end the preseason at home against the Bears either September 2nd or 3rd. It will be the seventh straight time Cleveland and Chicago face off during the preseason.

The Bears upgraded their secondary with the addition of defensive back Tim Jennings. During the 2009 season with the Colts, Jennings defended 10 passes, intercepted 2 others and had 57 total tackles.

Jennings has defended 20 passes and intercepted 4 others during his career.

I think the Browns Organization is going to make good decision on their pickss this year!! The past couple years we havent had any good coaches or anything, so I am really counting on this years draft. Hope We Get A QB! does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Cleveland Fans,

so whats what everyone? what does everyone think about them trading Brady Quinn for a FB and a 6 round pick next year and a unconditional pick in 2012???? Well peoples it makes me angry because i think he should of waiting until the draft he might of got someone atleast good! Now, Jake Delholmme??? seriously, this guys is old and his career has ended! now espn sports analysists are saying the only reason they picked him up is because the Browns need a leader…. i totally agree but Mike if you start him people mite be very mad.. im just putting this out here but i think you should draft a good QB and have delholmme teach him a thing or two about the NFL then we just mite have a chance to actually have a 500 season. Seneca Wallace is a good QB i would rather have him start the Delholmme for sure; he is strong, he can run very fast, and the best thing about it is that he is very acturate !!!! Like i said i am going to accept whatever Holmgren wants and his decision towards the team!

Personally Mike Holmgren is going to do great things for our team, recently we have picked up great free agents and we got rid of anderson! We mite get rid of Brady Quinn which would only make me mad because i have 3 Jerseys with his name on it, but if they decide to get rid of him good deal just as long as they do something good with him! Browns FANS the draft is going to be the best part about this, Holmgren is great and will draft well they are looking at some sick receivers they are from georgia tech and flordia !!! Tell Me We Wont MAKE THE PLAYOFFS THIS SEASON!
